too late to debadge?

i've had my car (black) for about 2 years now and i was wondering if you guys thought that the sun would bleach the rest of the paint enough to make it look stupid if i debadged the a-c-u-r-a and the type-s...

thanks

I think you will be fine. I have 2001 CL black and debadged about two weeks ago, and I don't see any mark on it. Just follow easy steps to debadge it completely.

2yrs of that Florida sun will prolly have faded the paint slightly but I'm sure after debadging no one will notice - unless they put their face right up against the trunk.

I debadged my 88 legend two years ago and the paint matched perfectly.

You shouldn't have any problems.

Even if it does show slightly, In my opinion, a "ghost" A C U R A will look better than the chrome. You should be fine. Polish, then wax the area after you finish for a great new look.

I think it gives the rear of the car a cleaner look.

I had my cl-s for 2 1/2 years before I took off the "type-s". It left a very slight ghosting that you can only see when your up close to the car and at a certain angle. Mine is black also.
