TLS remote question

I just picked up the 02 TLS remote today, and i printed the intructions out and im about to go try and program it..i do have one question though...on step where it says ("3. W/in 10sec, aim the transmitters (up to three) whose codes you want to store at the receiver, and press the transmitter lock or unlock buttons. Confirm that you can hear the sound of the door lock actuators after each transmitter code is stored") do i need to take the current remotes and aim them w/the new tl remote, or just the new TL one??

Maybe it went bad and he locked himself IN the car without a functioning remote and can’t get out to post.

Can you imagine calling a locksmith saying you're locked IN the Car????

Reminds me of an old joke...

Hillbilly truck driver locks his keys in the Cab of his Semi. It's raining outside and he has to run a mile to get the closest service station to call the company to get them to send someone with an extra key. He's pissed because it's pouring rain, and he gets soaked. So he finally calls into HQ and tells the story and finishes by saying... "Tell them to hurry up because it's pouring rain and I left my windows wide way open!"

I know, it's bad....

I bought one on Saturday as well. The parts guy was really cool. He told me to go into the service area and tell one of the guys to program it for me!!! The service guy was really cool too!! He told me it wouldn't work!! I said try programming it, and if it didn't work, I would do it at home. He did and it worked fine!!! Then he said that my original remote wouldn't work, we tried it and it did!!! He was kinda surprised. Then he said the the CL only had room for two remotes in its memory. So my third remote, memory seat 2, wouldn't work. I told him I would check when I got home. Well I called him and to his AMAZEMENT, I told him all three worked perfectly!!! At least he learned something. The service I got was great. They didn't have to do anything for me, but they did!! Hats off to Acura of Oakland service and parts department!!!
