I was reading in that Motor Trend on the specs for the TL Type S, and it appears that the factory is shipping these cars with Michelin Pilot HX's (same size 215/50 VR17's)rather than the Michelin MXM4's that we had shipped as standard equipment on our CL Type S's.

Anyone know the specs on these tires (not that it matters much since I think i've gotten some pretty awesome tires, and probably much better than any Michelins in the Yokohama AVS Db I just equipped on my Type S ).

Ok i'm a dumbass, it appears that those tires are one in the same .

I guess Motor Trend decided to abbreviate it.

Tire Rack has them listed as Michelin Pilot HX MXM4

WTF Acura should put Pilot Sports on all Type S's... The stock tires are weak.
