Saw a pre-production TL type-S at a show here in Toronto on the weekend. Visually it had larger "CL style" grill and larger more
aggressive headlights, CL style alloy rims, same tail lens except the directional signals are clear instead of amber. Interior includes the same CL dash and perf leather. I still think the smooth leather and head rests look nicer. There was only
one on display and it was not accessible so we can only assume it had the type "S" 260hp/232lb/ft engine. List is $ 41,000. cdn
based on what I saw the CL coupe is a cleaner
design. The older, current TL design looks cleaner as well
