They're essentially the same thing, so it just depends on how many doors you need.

 

and whether or not you're shiftless......

 

If you need a four door, get a tl, if not the cl does the trick, if you need more then 4 doors, buy a fooking caravan

 

TL-S has real fogs, therefore it wins.

As far as appearance, the CL-S takes the cake.

 

IMO, the TL-S with OEM bodykit looks AWESOME!!!

 

Factory wise, I agree with the 04 TL. You have to hook the CL up just a little bit, but then it looks great. I am not a fan of the 03 CL wheels, and lack of fog lights. I see you have to pay like $359 to get them on all models now.

CLS baby. I am a huge fan of 2 doors so i am kinda biased. Cant wait for the C6 though.

Of course I'm biased to the TLS that's why I bought it. The grocery getter, the mommy car, it's been called some of everything. The CLS was an option and the TLS being shiftless definitely made the CLS more appealing. But I truly dislike the body style of CLS without it being completely tricked out on exterior wise, just to rounded all over. A crazy kit, some flames, deep dish wheels would have been nice but I wasn't going that route again. Plus I was trying to move out of the coupe and try a four door. My next two door will soon come, in 36 more payments!HAHA

 

'03 CLS 6MT (s/c'd) would own any TL (s/c'd or not)

i personally like the cls, but they are essentially the same car, depends on if you need 2 doors or 4 doors

Bottomline is that they are basicly the same car.

 

I'm 24 years old, therefore, I only need two doors. CLS all the way. I'll get 4 doors when I need them.

Actually TLS vs CLS I say the CLS owns because of the 6-speed option (and the power potential as proved by some pioneers).

But 04TL vs 04CL....well thats no competition...haha

 

I like the front seats in the CLS better than the TLS.

I've driven both the 03 and 04 TL's and I'd have to say I like the seats better in my 03 CL, and also the interior.

 

For sure anyday, only due to the shiftless TLS. I misunderstood the question, didn't think he was asking performance wise who is the king. My bad!

Love the rear of the CL over the TL as well.

 

For a two door, I wants something REALLY fast! For now, the grocery getter will have to do.
