i have auto up and down on both my windows with my clifford smart windows units.

if you really want this option, don't buy the oem part from the tl...instead, drop by the car stereo shops. you can add the clifford smartwindows or the dei modules. the dei 529t will control two windows in one direction, or control one window up and down. the dei 530t will control two windows both up and down as well as add venting (if you have an alarm).

What about your moonroof? Would that count as one of the windows, or would you have to get a different model?

i believe you can wire it to your sunroof if you wanted, but not sure how it will work exactly since there is the pop up option. but i don't think there is a problem.

I believe these work by sensing the current draw of the window motor - as it pushes against something it can't move (window sash, hand, dog's head, roof frame), it draws more amps. The threshold is set to stop power when it pulls x # of amps. So, it should work on the sunroof.
