i never noticed that the tl had rear passenger ducting from the center console (not the under seat ducts)

if you look at the diagrams, there's just 1 extra duct going for the TL

but i'm not entirely sure what is different for the console, from these pictures

has anyone ever considered this? i also read that it kinda gives a heating/cooling effect to the console, so you can put items in there to heat/chill them (kinda like the chill-zone on dodge's i suppose, or like BMW's)

i'd assume i have to do a little modding for a 6mt (seat heater switches) but since the gate shift is not part of the rear section, ?

and the rear seats from the TL don't fit right ? haha..

the console has 2 separate ducts that run thru it (one on each side) You could buy the new center insert (probably cheaper to find a used TL console) because the insert has the actual duct track run thru it and you would have to get the actual duct work hooked up to the heater
You can see it on each side of the shifter




6 speed guys would have to modify the duct work slightly to get it past teh cupholders that sit wider.
