Tl axleback comptech on cl...

Not really finding much on here...what kind of modifications are needed to make the tl mufflers fit on the cl? Are there any differences in the actual mufflers...i'm not talking about a full cat back exhaust...just the axle back mufflers....any body using this setup? Pics?

the mufflers are the same it's the piping i believe that is different. You'll need to cut off some to make it fit.

not quite that easy to cut off some of the pipe, have to make sure the flanges and such are still there,

but i think they might just stick out a little bit futher from the bumper then one made for a cl

the mufflers on the cl are shorter than the tl (the piping part). if u put the tl mufflers on they will stick out a bit, not sure how much, but a friend with a tl had cl mufflers on and burned his rear lip on a hot summer day in Arizona (i believe), they were sunken in about 4in on his tl.

Youre better off modding the b pipe to make them fit, and you will need to reweld the hangers. I just waited till I found a set of CL muffs.
