tire wear

For some reason I'm experiencing rapid tire wear in my inner portion of my tires. Any ideas why?

Check your tire pressure, they may be over-inflated.

Is your car lowered? Did you do an alignment after you lowered? How many miles do you have on the car? and have you rotated the tires?

At least a few of you caught onto my sarcasm

By the way...the reason for that camber is not because of a lack of alignment or anything like that. It's due to the fact that I lowered the car 3.75 inches all around. It would look exactly the same with coilovers.

are you serious? you lowered your car so much... the tires are butterflying... that's why your tires are wearing out on the inside... you need a camber correction

Can we send varying sizes of tires and wheels to see if they fit when the car is lowered -- you would make a great test mule

Look at it this way -- if a tire/wheel combo works on your car without rubbing, it will work on any car!

BTW -- if you drive real hard in turns all day long and avoid straight line driving, you should have no wear problems. Just make sure that the car is driving hard on two wheels!

There is a way to keep cars like yours from going through tires so fast----

Buy non-directional tires and have them rotated every day!!!
