Tire recommendations...

My stock tires are bald as fuck (thank gawd finally...gives me an excuse to get new and better ones). I am looking at the Yokahamas ES100...my friend has them on his TL and they seem to be good tires...what do you guys think? Any other recommendations? I'm looking to spend at most $160 with mounting and road hazard per tire. The size I'm interseted in is 225/45/17. Thank you.

C'mon, Richard...there can be only one: Toyo Proxes T1-S. And in stock size they can be had for ~ $160.

Yoko ES100s are the only way to go, excellent performance at a affordable price.

Hhehe...if I was gonna get the t1s...I would atleast want 225 . Also I drive a lot and can't afford to go through tires fast . Who knows maybe next time i'll give them a try .

Are 235's too wide for stock 17's? I liked my S-03's but they inspire too much confidence.
