Tinting Question
Tinting Question
i have an '02 cl-s, black on parchment and im gonna get my windows tinted real soon. i am thinking bout getting 20% on back, and 35% on the sides and titanium film...my question is whether or not 35% will look too light considering i have parchment?
I would recommend going the same % tint all around as it looks a bit silly with 35 and 20 in the back. 35 is just too light if you want privacy as it will feel as there is no tint at all during daylight sun, it will be ok during the night.
35 is what they put on minivans in the rear, so you get the idea. Parchment interior is light right? if thats the case, then it will even feel lighter looking in. My ride has 15 and I think people can still see in during the day. I say go 20 all around and yes, skip the titanium.

I just got my 32% sides and 22% rears and back windshield...got the metal film (Solargard HP Charcoal) and it looks pretty dark to me (not limo dark like some other cars), but then again, I have the black interior. I'm good with it...

Whatever you decide stick with one % all the way around. And... No titanium!!!
either go one percentage all the way around or dont bother, tinting differnet percentages on different windows looks gay and tacky, especially on a nice car like a CL-S....do 20% all the way around, its the absolute best for the black CL-S...and your parchement interior should make it "appear" a bit lighter than someone with ebony interior....so dont worry about it, go 20% all the way around and youll be glad....do the mix and match and you will not only have an odd looking car but you will wish you did it one percentage all the way
