tinting question

im going to get my 3.2 cl type-s tinting soon..but im not sure which one to get..?

im planing to get the darkest one possable!!also do your think i should get all windows done except whindshild???? fu*k the state law about the tinting..or just get all windows except drivers window and windshield?

also what kind a tiniting is good and will last me atleast 5 years min.?? and what is a good price range for a cl?

Uhm the darkest CL-S would be black. There's also Aegean blue, San Marino red, PDGold (if you can still find one), white, and silver.
I think that's all the colors.

One of our sublet people here at Park Ave uses a product called"lumar".He tinted my Civic with it and it worked out extremely well.Figure to pay anywhere from 100 to 300 dollars for the job depending on where you live.Avoid metallic tints if your car is equpped with navigation as we have seen some problems with satellite reception.I would also avoid tinting the front windshield not for legal reasons but simply as it creates an odd ditortion in the glass.Jens

3M makes good quality tint. It doesn't look cheap like some of that blue or purple crap. I don't really care for the metallic tint either.

I just got mine tinted last night...we used 35% all around except the rear window is at 20%....that way the car has a nice and smooth (but not too dark look)...and you keep it legal.

Has anybody done metallic tinting? Pics? Costs? Legal? Just thinking that it looks cool on the Lexus SUV
