tint cleaner?

Anyone recommend a good cleaner to use for my tinted windows. I've heard that those special cleaners you can buy at auto stores aren't good for the tints. What does everyone recommend?

Thanks,
Erik

Any normal household window cleaner will work ok. However make sure it DOES NOT have ammonia in it cuz that can be harmful to the tints.

I just use a really soft towel that has been lightly dampened with water.
The same 100% cotton towels that I use for Zaino.
I don’t smoke or anything in the car so I only need to wipe them like once or twice a year.

I would avoid ALL household cleaners because almost everything has ammonia or some type of cleaner that will be bad in this application.

A call to the tint guy that did your car might also get you some suggestions.

Windex makes a good glass cleaner that is safe to use. It's ammonia free, but I do the same as ShawnS.

Thanks for the info, all I've been doing up to now is just wiping with a soft cloth, like some of you guys do, however, I was just wondering if there was anything out there that works better. My tint guy told me when I got my tints done a while ago, that he uses a spray bottle containing a drop of dish detergant mixed with water. He told me not to buy any of those auto store cleaners.

Thanks again for the info.

A little soap and water in a spray bottle is all you need. Spray a small amount on the towel you use to clean it and whip gently.
