Tint in Bay Area

It so freakin hot yesterday in San Jose 96 F and it's getting hotter today near 100. Now I want to tint my car so it doesn't get so hot. Does anyone know a good reputable place in the Bay Area that's also cheap and has quality that i can go to get my car tinted? I'm looking for some titanium tint.

I know a place that is not cheap...but they don't remove any of your door panels or anything. Click on my sig for the pics. It is a Quantum tint, but supposedly if you have a navi, you should stay away from metalic tints...

jmai... only place I know of is Mr Tint by Stevens Creek and San Tomas. But DAMN they are expensive! $350 for all the windows, plus $75 for each window that has an illegal tint. CA legal limit is 70 (aka barely better than no tint) for the front 3, and no limit for the back 3. Richard (lucky bastard ) got a group deal on his ride. I think he paid $300 (?) total for his tint job.

Sounds like gmillian's guy is the way to go...

I don't know...all in all...even with my group discount...I think I may have been jipped off...Personally I should have gone with the dye tint instead of the Quantum...but the Quantum sounded good at the time. Make sure u check the place to see how they do the tinting...my place scratched atleast one window on all four of our cars...so be carefully.

I've been going to this place for the past 10 years in San Francisco and I don't even know the name etc....but here is how to get there. He has done all of my cars ! CLS was 180.00 legal darkest tint....
Take 101 North, in your case, exit Army (Ceasar Chalvez whatever), go right (East) on Army. The first light, go right to that car wash ! Inside the car wash, he rents a couple of stalhls and he is very reputable and does excellent work. CASH only, wait and watch his do his thing. They also have a mexican burrito shop in the stahl next to him. So go Saturday early, eat a burrito and watch him do you car ! YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY !

I have NO clue ! All I know is I have had NO problems with any of my previous cars with peeling, bubbles etc.... When I went to have my CLS done, he had 3 new Volvos from the local dealership in progress.....so I really don't think they use cheap tint etc......take a drive up their and you will not be disappointed !~
