Times with different wheels

I was going to go to the track and run my car down the 1/8th mile a few times on the stock wheel and tire setup, and then do a few on the 18's I just got. All this time I thought the track in the neighboring city was a 1/4 mile track. Disappointed about it being 1/8 mile so I didnt go and went ahead and put on the 18's.

Has anyone done this? Do you really lose that much time with the bigger wheels?

Depends on how much they weigh but seeing as they're chrome 18's they're probably not very light. When I used to run my Accord it was almost a full second difference in the 1/4 between the stock and aftermarket wheels...
