i am the proud owner of an 01 CL-s ...just sold my 98 cl (hense my name d98clturbo) and got a black on black cl-s

i just wanted to know have any of you guys taken apart your head lights and painted them

i was considering to do it but then a friend of mine told me that if moisture gets into the headlight it would ruine the bulb.....is this true? i had no prob with doing it on my 98 just wasnt sure about the 2nd gen

any help would be greatly appreciated

 

you can use the search function to find the diy manual for doing the process, as for the moisture..you won't have problems as long as you re-seal it tightly. a lot of people have done it on this board..so just search for "clear headlight" or somethin
