i was headin home tonite around 1:30 AM and a 2000+ silver mustang GT just boned out...i floored it just a little after and man those things got some high end power...the dude just kept pulling...whew i knew those were monsters but i didnt know they had high end power

anybody race one of these before? anybody win? except for typeR and allmotor and anybody else who runs 13s...i already know the answer

 

when you're talking about vehicles with similer acceleration, and one gets a good jump, the other is dead meat.

if you got the jump, it may have been different.

 

it was prolly modded,

i have yet to run against a stang that could take me, but i have only gone against stock or lightly modded gt's, i know what will hapopen if i go against the 03 cobra

 

I have 2 friends with 02+ GTs and can only beat one of them at the track cause he can't drive. The other runs pretty consistant low 14s. He has a cat back exhaust, X pipe, and short shifter and that's about it performance wise.

 

I've never beaten a GT but all the ones I've raced were modded. I'm not sure how I'd feat against a stock 02+ GT. At the tracks though I see slightly modded ones run anywhere from 13.5-14.5 depending what they'vegot/driver/etc.
