Time to buy Springs -- need your help pls.
The modding bug has worked it's way into my suspension now ..
Exhaust will come last .. but right now, I want springs:
I want the most CONSERVATIVE drop .. 1" or less. I want the drop to look even all around, and non-boy-racer. Please advise. Trying to keep it under $200.00 total for the front and rears. Thanks in advance..
(Jesal .. pls. chime in on this -- i liked your drop, how many inches was it dropped?)

that's easy. comptech springs, all the way.
you might be able to pick up a used set for $200. expect at least another $100 for install. more if you have it done at a dealer.

thanks for the reply -- is your car dropped? did you do the HR fronts and comptech rears? (or is it the other way around?)
how does it handle after the springs?

i have the tein ss coilovers.
for you, i would really recommend the CT springs, they are the best way to lower our cars. i had them, but i wanted to go lower. the handling will be much better with the springs, and the ride will still be smooth. it will have a sportier feel to it.
you shouldn't have any problems finding some pics of CT drops around here. i might even have a couple of my car.

The CT's have a nice OEM-type of drop... I have seen BlueCL6's car and it looks nice. I used H&R springs with 1-coil cut up front. It makes is very even (most other springs have a rake associated with them... higher up front).... and about 3/4" lower than the Comptechs. 1.5 finger gap between the wheel and fenderwell.

Neuspeed is what I ride with and I am very happy with that. It's not too low, handeling is improved, and ride quality is not sacraficed... for what it is worth

1.25" is pretty damn close to 1.5", and after they settle they will be at 1.5".

we used to talk about using H&R o.e. s front and comp rear for a perfect 1.0 inch drop and the comp front and H&R rear for a more level 1.5/1.25 ...
also if you spent alittle more you could kill two birds with one stone by just buying the KONI yellows for as little as 400$ new and drop your car 1.0 front .75 rear using the shocks adjustable perch

"and why would H&R say .75/.50 when it's 1.0 /1.25 as i said dont believe every thing you read"
H&R drop specs are for the Accord V6 because that is what they are designed for. H&R and Eibach do NOT make springs specifically for the TLS.
CT on the other hand are specifically for the TL Type S.
H&R OE will be the most conservative drop but as someone has said, will drop the rear more than the front. Actually, one of the nicests conservative drops I've seen are H&R OE front only.
My preference is Comptech. Take a long look at posted pics and then decide.
