ticking noise.

i am hearing this little ticking noise when the car is idling or when i have my foot barely gas >1800 rpm. what is this, is it normal? it is getting annoyin

Yeah I think we all have the little ticking at idle. I have heard this on numerous Honda engines.

Pretty normal with solid lifters on Honda engines. If you have a lot of miles it may be time for an adjustment.

I know how to get rid of this ticking if you want to...

sit down in your driver's seat...

pull up the e-brake...

carefully look at the oil gauge...

then turn the ignition key next to the steering wheel towards your body one click...

MAGICALLY the noise is gone
