i got a cls6 TB on my CLP. maybe a little hp/tq, biggest thing I saw was throttle response. its a good bit bigger than the clp, and you having the SC will prolly see more gains than me.

Gains? It's all in your head.

If you're not replacing anything on either side of the TB, there is no gain.

Think about it, if you had a straw that had a bulge in the middle of it, would you be able to suck more through the straw? You're still restricted at the front and back of the straw.

In order to really see any worthwhile gains to justify the price, you'd need to swap the intake manifold and the air box and piping on the other side of the throttle body. You'll also need to purchase the bypass valve acutator and hook up an rpm switch to activate the bypass valve.

I did it a while back and here's a thread on it.

Keep in mind, mine is a 99TL which required a lot more parts, fuel rails, injectors, lower IM, etc.

i have it. the max blower pulley and the CT HBP make 9lbs. i just don't have any cooling system. im looking into a few meth/injection systems for some good prices and i also need to get hold of an emanage and boomslang harness and get a tune. lots of $$$ there tho so i'm going slow and doing some of the other things i can do to get a little more hp.
