I've noticed lately that when I bring up the revs a little then hit the brakes (ie. backing out of my driveway or moving my car forward slightly) the revs fall back down a little faster than normal and fall way below the normal idling range of 800-900 to the point sometimes that it actually stalls.
I know there were a few threads written about a problem with the CL that even Acura service didnt know about and had to be explained to them by other members here. I dont recall the exact problem so the search is usless to me, but I remember vaguely that it had something to do with power/performance so I'm not even sure if thats along the lines of the problem.
Anyone else with a 6spd have a similar prob? I wanna have some kind of idea before going in to service, maybe it'll save them some time and theyll be able to diagnose the problem correctly.

Mine does it once in a while...same thing you are talking about...usually on a colder engine....clutch and brake and the thing stalls....ive notices some other times when it drags the rpms really low and almost stalls when i depress the clutch (yes 100 % to the floor) Unless it is repeatable, service cant do much of anything...i already brought it up...thats how they all are....they need to reproduce it....it happens to me about once a month or so and I have 20K on the car now...I drive too damn much!!

this sounds like the fuel pump TSB, no??
o, and the problem u were referring to that the serivice guys don't know about is the VAFC actuator on the Type S failing...but that's just a power boost, not stalling at idle
