has anyone had any bad experiences with these. i thought i read about people bottoming out or something with these. is this true or is it due to extreme driving. anyways i was just quoted $1g for the teins and only $100 for installation at pann auto. which seems awesome to me. now all i got to do is see if my budget can handle it. thanks for any input.
do i just post for blxmjx and ask or does he have a website. cuz i also asked them if i could get the teins somewhere else is that what they charge for install and they said its the same. so if i can get it, you just saved me $150. thanks.

But it's mostly due to the fact that roads around here are horrible. For the most part, I'm pretty happy with them. Even went auto crossing a couple of times. They made a 3500lb car drive like a board.
I don't bottom, and I rarely ever rub in the front. Tha back is a different story, I always rub in the back, it annoys the shit out of me. Installing them is pretty simple, just like putting in stock/spring combo. the only downside, is that the Teins don't come with pillow mounts. You might want to look into camber kits also, you will def need them if you lower your car with Teins.

I'm at 2.5in in the front and 2.0in the rear. I bottom out every once in awhile due to my height and due to my driving style. To counter this problem, I'm upgrading my front springs to stiffer. I'll tell you how that goes if you wish to wait. They're in, and just need to be sent to me and installed. Buy from blxmjx.
I thought that the Teins were a stiffer spring than stock, so despite the lower ride....why are they bottoming out, especially for small drops??? and do you need a camber kit if you arent dropping it a lot?
I want a moderate drop, but i dont want to deal with doing the job twice if I were to get comptech with stock shocks.....Does anyone think it would be better to go the koni/comptech route instead of Teins??? I know this is a huge debate...but Ive searched plenty and still cannot get a good concensus...
thanks

Ant7701: Yup both.
fahoumh: You feel your car hit something like going over a dip or something and you hear BOOOM.
Syncros-CL6: The springs are soft. They were intended for the Accord and since the CL weighs like 400lbs more...you can see how that doesn't work out. Camber kits may or may not be required depending on how out of spec you are or how much money you want to spend on tires. Comptech: $299 (new) or $180 (used) + Koni: $550 as opposed to Teins for $850.

sounds like you need to learn how to drive a lowered car. I'm down 3" and I only rub when I hit a bump harder then I should.
