For those with Mobile video...can you bypass the E-Brake TV viewing mode?

I was talking to a friend of mine with a TV/DVD (Kenwood) player in his car and he said the when he bypassed the E-Brake wire(so he can watch DVDs while he drives) the E-Brake lights stays on...is there any way around this...that light on all of the time would drive me CRAZY!!!!!

Mr Safdari is correct. You'll have to ground a wire on the deck, along with a wire on the processor. Very easy to do.

He would probably still drive safer and better than many "soccer" moms in their SUVs

I drive with my video playing and I'm used to it by now. Doesn't affect my driving (that I know of). I do still have a kill switch in case LEO comes around. Makes no sense to pay a ticket for it.

I know there is a certain wire that has to be grounded, so the switch probably grounds that wire!

dude, it's real easy. i did it myself. i have the clarion though. The installer ain't gonna do it for you. Get the manual. look at the wire scematic and find the wire that goes to the e brake and ground it. Alpine has a certin way to do theres, i think. My friend with an alpine has to hit the brakes, the E brake. Freaking Alpine to make everything difficult.
