? for those with axis se7ens 19''

i had them on my 96 tl. when i bought them i had a local shop MILL the wheels to raise the offset from a +45 to a +48. that was the highest they could go without it getting dangerous. i still had rubbing even after my fenders were rolled. looking at soopas car his seem to sit very nice in the fender. just wondering what offset you guys have or maybe the cl has more room than my tl did?

It's not a CL TL thing, I'm pretty sure it's a Gen1 Gen2 thing.
I have 48 offset and am running 235/35 and 245/35 tires with
minimal rubbing.

We're running a 45 offset with the Se7ens. Soopa said he had some rubbing, but his car is pretty low. Damn it looks good.

How much was it to have them milled to a 48 offset? I'm thinking about getting this done since I want to go a bit lower, but Axis told me they would only make the Se7ens with an offset as high as 45.

i paid an extra 100$ when i bought the wheels new.

soopa, very nice ride bro. if the +45 is working for you and i buy em again i wont mill

i really liked how strong the wheels were, i hit major pot holes and only once did it effect the rim and it was only visible when balancing. that was due to a nail in my tire which left me at about 10psi when i hit the pot hole

How much did you pay for the one new wheel? I may have to do the same or see if I can redo the chrome, I don't know. Stupid situation made me rub up a bit on a curb.

You definetly gotta shave or roll your fenders just on the rears if you get those wheels, I have that exact wheel in 18" application and I shaved my rear fenders and the rear bumper alittle and took off the two top most clips on either side of the front wheel well fenders...

you could. but it would look gay...

i would suggest lowering on comptech springs... they do a good job of preventing rubbing with their progressive spring rate and moderate drop...

you wont have to cut or shave or wax or nair anything
