City traffic is no big problemo. I drove a CL-S 6-speed and our Acura dealership is in Nashua. The clutch is light and the travel is fairly short, so it becomes second nature.

Where is my super sauce?
This has been asked before and my answer is the same:
If you have the ask the question then maybe a manual transmission car is not for you.
I've been driving manual cars through the thickest of city traffic for almost 25 years and have never thought twice about it. I've driven many family and rental cars with automatic transmissions and have never had the thought, "oh, this is soooo relaxing in traffic."
I would even go as far as to say that a manual car is more fun to drive in heavy traffic then an automatic. At least you are kept active and don't fall asleep and die of boredom.

i live in diamond bar, and i commute to pasadena everyday for work, bumper to bumper practically the whole way, i'm fine with the manual but that's also because i enjoy driving so constant shifting is fine with me. and it's smooth shifting so i don't see it as a problem

I commute through the Beltway traffic every day here in the DC area and so far, I'm not at all put off by driving my 6spd... except the fact that she BEGS to go faster and I usually can't get her past 4th gear
One trick I do in slow traffic is take her from 1st to 3rd. The gear ratios are so close that I only have to wind out 1st to near 4,000 rpms to have a very smooth shift straight to 3rd. Very nice. Does anyone else do this? Am I unintetionally hurting the car?

I don't commute with mine but I do drive it almost daily in an urban (Philadelphia) setting.
I don't mind shifting a bit, in fact it's fun (and I'm over 50). The clutch is easy and grabs right off the floor. The shifter is smooth and effortless. In fact, I'm quite impressed how easy it shifts in cold weather. I remember, back in the day, that shifting in cold weather was like rowing through molasses. I don't know if the improvement is due to design or lubricants but it's very welcomed this winter.
