So I am getting in the right lane to get off the highway, and up ahead, I see a 328 up ahead getting of the highway to. I didn't feel like racing (how many times do here that in a story)
so we both made a right turn at the next light. It becomes 2 lane and I looked over and it looked to be a 97' 328IS. I had a buddy in the car and it looked like he didn't have anyone in the car through his tint. He looks over and starts revving, by then the light turns green and he gets the jump on me. I am about half a car length behind but, when Vtec kicked in, I started gaining on him fast. By the next light, he was a car length behind. He flashed his lights and turned off. Does any one know the numbers on 328IS, I know he had a manuel, but if anything he should have been right on me.

 

328 has 190 HP but not sure about the torque....
about 300~350 lbs lighter than cls
