I hear the space of the new IS a lot less spacious compared to the CL.

But looks wise, *drool* its a beautiful car! If you are a big guy, you should re-consider that issue.

I am sure you did though.

IS350 is dope but no manual = no thanks for me. IS250 is too weak but does have the manual tranny.

I'll stick with my CL-S 6speed and wait until Lexus hopefully offers the 350 with the three pedals.

As long as you don't get ripped I'd say go for it. I hear the 350 is a fun car even with the automatic.

And 2 doors

Lots of interesting coupes coming out... BMW 3 series, redesigned G35c, Rumors of a Lexus IS coupe, Rumors of a new Toyota Supra, and an Acura... oh... nothing.

KenSteele got a Black/Black IS350 loaded w/ ML sound... not sure what they gave him for his CL

Couple of familiar names on the clublexus IS forum (not that I would know )

I am still waiting for my CL to die, way too many miles to get anything good for it. May as well let it die on it's own.

my bro bought the new 06 IS250. I would choose that over the IS350 anyday. Gotta have AWD. Plus the 350 doesnt come with as many features as the 250. My bros is more loaded then a 7 series beamer. Sweet cars the IS series are though, especially the new ones......

I think you will get raped on the payments. You won't get anything for your CL and you'll easily be paying about $32K to $35K for the IS.

The 350 is just as loaded. It doesn't have AWD but it does have 306hp! IS250 is base IS but you can option it out but it will never be nicer than the 350.

I assume you are saying that will be the price after the trade-in.

You'll pay $40K for a fully loaded IS250. Yeah they arent real roomy, but not too bad. the IS350 doesnt even come stock with HID's, has to be added. My bros came with HID's.

One thing that bugs me, is that the IS's don't come standard with HID's. It's not supposed to be an option. Good friend of mine sells them.

No IS comes with factory HIDs, they are always an option on both 250 and 350. The 350 is the top-end IS.

I traded my 02 CL-S in for a IS350 a month ago, granted it's a little small in the back but I don't have people in the back seat that often anyway. I was a pissed HID's didn't come standard, you need to get one with sport or luxary package. And I miss the extra side bolster support the CL had. Man is this car quick though, they run high 13's through the 1/4 and low to mid 5's to 60. dukmahsik I would go take a nice long test drive in one, that's what did me in.

IS350 will have a stick in 2007. That will be a hot car. I'm in the next gen. G35 camp though. Car is beautiful.

I'm only afraid that as soon as I trade in my CLS, acura will anounce that it's coming out with a new coupe...

IS350 is a very fast car. I test drove one at the Taste of Lexus in Westchester NY this past summer. It's a quick bunny. I saw nothing wrong with the interior or the exterior (other than 4 doors). The negatives are no manual in the 350 and you can't turn off the traction control/vehicle dynamic control. Even switched off, it's still on.

I could never understand why they didn't continue with the CL-S. The next gen Honda Accord Coupe was definitely a take off on the CL-S coupe. And the pigs are flying!

It didnt sell as planned...

Anyway...

How gay is it that the 350 doesnt come in AWD. in 2007 they better make a manual and AWD option for it...how dumb could they be not to come out with those options...
