Thinking of trading in my type R for a CL type S
I have a 2001 Integra type R, and I am thinking of trading it in for a 2001 CL type S, I have a couple questions, I have driven the car, and like it but I want to get everyone else point of you, what I would do with it,is Put a set of 20's on it and a nice stereo system, I dont need for this car to be fast becasue I have another type R, that is my race car, does anyone have pics of a CL with 20's, or any other kind of nice looking rim, besides stock

Geting a CLS could be nice addtion to your collection. It loves to be driven on the HW.
Things that you would do to improve the CLS:
1) Comptech Sways, will correct the roll problem.
2) Comptech Springs, Better looks and improved handling, side effects: moderate stiffer ride, watch out speed bumps and high side walks near parking spots. Also, Camber correction Kit could be needed if 4-wheel alignment does not fall in spec.
3) New set of tires, people here like Bridgstone S0-2/SE730, Toyo Proxies S1, and NITTO 555. 235/40/18, 225/45/18 or 235/35/19 are some setups that could fit on 18x7.5 and 18x8 and 19x8. Offset is major factor and whether lowering springs would be considered.
4) Comptech Headers will realease up to 30HP on the wheels. Reported to extract up to 229 HP on the FWs on a DynoJet.
5) CAI (from Comptech, Xephyr, or injen) is being reported to produce an additional 6-10HP.
6) SuperCharger is claimed to being developped by Comptech. Availability, IMHO sometimes in 2002.
That is all I can say.

i want to put 20s on mine when i get it too. hopefully it wont rub too bad. 35s maintain the stock diameter w/ 19s so i figure it should just tuck. and im in high school.........so you could have a schwinn on 20s and you would be the talk of the school.......LOL

I know the CL, has a good stereo in it already, but I Dont like stock stereo's they begin to fall apart, in my opinion, I am thinking of removing the rear seats, and putting 4 15's in. I know I could get rid of one of my Type R's but one is already full race, and I bought the other one for a daily driver, so I think that If i trade it in for a CL, I will be much happier, just becasue sometimes on long trips, the Type R, is a little rough

I agree that the Type R can be rough on the highway trips. An awesome racing platform though! Just tooling down the highway with the RPMs so high can get old. My brother had one until he moved to Cleveland (Gag), now he drives one of those souped up Subarus...pretty cool car in the snow. You will love the CL-S. It has known quirks - sunroof squeaks, body roll, thrumming sound from sunroof baffle - all of these can be fixed easily.
