Thinking of opening a Dyno Shop - NEED INPUT!!!

I'm thinking of opening a Dyno Shop in Connecticut...but I need some market feedback. The plan is to make the dyno accessible to the general public just like a regular garage or Pep Boys.

1. Is this something a lot of people are interested in?

2. How often would you go? How many runs/session?

3. How much would you pay...per session?...per run?

If anyone has a lot of experience with these...I'll take any input.

Thanks!

Well if you get a quality dyno machine that is capable of handling FWD or RWD and although it's probably out of the question AWD (4wheel dyno), you will get a steady stream of business from every aftermarket car group in your area... camaros, mustangs, audi/bmw, honda/acura, toyota/lexus, nissan, subaru, etc.

How many dyno shops are already in your area? Find out.
Find out what they charge and price accordingly.
Offer a grand opening special to attract customers. Win them over with friendly atmosphere and some gimmic. Be creative.

Just usual business practice.

Around here (MD) at a performance tuning shop with a 4wheel dyno, 2pulls is around $75, IIRC.

Usually they say something like $75 for an hour or $75 for 2runs or something similar.
