That's what im talking about.
You got a deal right there.

It all depends on the conditions.... how many months, miles per year, and especially how much down. $360 is not good if it's a 60 month lease.. you shouldn't lease for more than 39 months. 60 months is a long ass time! Also, work the deal on the total price of the car first,, don't tell them you want to lease until you work the finial price. Base the lease cost off the finial price

I got my 2002 CLS, NAVI, SPOILER....

$0 down, $0 out the door
15k miles per year for 39 months... not 60

$459.00 + tax

ok the specifics of my lease were: 1600 inception, 1st payment, etc.... 0 down (not cap cost), $360/month, 39 months, 12k/yr, CLS w/nav, no spoiler, nothing shady on the lease...will run it by my attorneys at work.

TKO, my pic? DDT is currently using it as his baby pic!!

I think that's a good deal, with the NAVI too. A co-worker of mine got a $0 down deal same terms as yours last month with a NAVI, & he's getting ripped at $440/month plus tax.

Since you intend to buy it off the end, you have an idea what your residual is?

that 'sounds like' a pretty good deal !!! I say, tell em to make it an even $350 and you'll be even happier.

However, regarding those $1600 'inception fees', try to found out exactly what those are - since you are showing NO CAP COST .. then beyond the $360 first month payment and possibly a $300-400 Security Deposit, what is the other roughly $1000 for ???

Also, what was the NEGOTIATED Price of the car that they state on the lease, AND what is the money factor and residual value ? You may be able to get an even CHEAPER price if you look hard enough at the numbers !

Cap cost is included in every American Honda Finance lease.

Dealer Fees $500 are always in the contract.

first payment + dealer fee + tax + security deposit (avoidable) = inceptions = 0 down.

....oh sry....right about cars.....where was I.....hmmm...... I was down at the dealer yesterday and i was wrong about cap cost. there is a cap cost as Fuzzy pointed out....no way to get around that I believe....Randy, I do know what the residual value would be....there is no security deposit. Anyways, apparently the finance interest (money factor) i was looking for is no longer in effect....pisses me off.....so its going to be slightly more. I know Im prob going to hear a backlash for saying this here but I was so fuming about what had transpired that I stopped by at an Inifiniti dealer and took a look at the G35s..... well i test drove one....didnt really notice a diff between it and the CLS. I prefer the CLS interior/features but the lines on the G35 were slightly more contemp....since Im not so engrossed in performace (as in making "kills" per some other posts in here) I will consider the car. Hellz, maybe right now Im even considering the TSX.

As for the '03 tranny warranties, as others have posted in this forum, the CLS/TLS currently being sold do not have the 100k tranny warranty....just the standard 4/50k. Apparently honda resolved the issue.
