Thinking About Selling my CLS
Thinking About Selling my CLS
I am considereing selling my CLS due to various reasons, but mainly because being 6'2" with a large frame, it gets very uncomfortable for my esp on long trips. Also I am racking up the miles, already at 40K in a year and a half.
However I still really like my car, and if I get something it has to be as sporty, if not sportier than my CLS, but at the same time be comfortable enough to seat me properly ( more legroom, wider seats). I am looking to spend no more than $35K , and am considering both used and new cars.
Thanks!

I myself am in the same situation as you, I love my CL S but need the extra room as I am 6'1. I have only sat in a TLS once, but felt like it was much more comfortable in the front seat. I am considering the TL S because it is still sporty and under 35k. But I need to go test drive one first. Not sure if this helped at all, just my 2 cents.

The G-35 is narrower inside than the CL--plus if you are any bigger than a toothpic, you will have a hard time using the seat adjustments--which are on the right side of the drivers seat (near the console) not on the left (where they are on 99% of other cars).

I think if you get the get regular TL-P, it would be much more comfortable. But if you like the sport seats, then maybe the TL-S would definitely work better for you than the CL-S. My friend has a 2000 TL-P and it's comfortable as hell compared to my CL, not that I am saying the CL-S's seats aren't comfortable, but the P and S model were designed with two different things in mind. I love the sporty feel and hold that the S seats give you!

So are the TLS and CLS front seats the same?
So are the TLS and CLS front seats the same?
The main problem I am having is cause I have a large frame, I am very wide, my upper torso has problems fittin into the seat cause the seat protrudes forward on the sides. If I get a new car, I dont think I would go for a TL, I would prolly go for a GS430 or a Mercedes.
How big is the new Z gonna be? Most probably smaller than our CLS interior.
I hate this, I cant find anything sporty that will fit me...

I guess we will find out in November when it arrives.
