Wideband is by techedge, and yes, that displays any knock or engine noise as its spliced into the knock detecter wire into the ecu. when you hit the limiter, the motor makes a lot of noise and that thing lights up pretty brightly.

^ according to my guy the e-manage sat for so long it completely reset itself. all the previously tuned maps have been deleted. He needs to re-do all that hard work that went into those tunes. i'm just as anxious to get behind the wheel of this beast. I'm am hoping to get her back in the next week or so.
hopefully it works, cuz the next option would be to go with the aem fic. which would mean more $$$$$.
Anybody know somehting different?
i recall seeing the cable in the kit. i have the software, but it has been damaged from the shipping and storage the last several years.
The eManage cable isnt a normal off the shelf cable. But:
You can either buy it (and the software) for 100+ (from Greddy or Mohd).
Or you can try to make one using a standard DKU-5 cable.

DIY for the cable:

Support tool:

Unzip it, in the first level of the "GReddy E-Manage Support Tool V1.20" directory you'll see "projectGSC.exe". Thats the program. There isn't an actual installer. Go to Help up at the top and then version info and make sure it says v1.49.
I know the file name says v1.20, but Ive saved you a step by compiling the update into it beforehand.

no luck with the emanage......ordered the AEM FIC and custom harness from boomslang. parts coming in monday and will be getting it tuned and dyno'd. hopefully all goes well and i can FINALLY get my car back.
Does anyone plan on pushing the setup further? I would like to see a CL hit numbers similar to the RSX.
Would it be possible to make 800 crank hp with a larger turbo, fully built engine with forged internals resleeved etc. , custom made strong axles and have it tuned to bring on the power in the top end?

^ There is a member on here named Thimjim (the one who coincidently pieced together the turbo kit in this thread), and he now has a full blown CL dragster with a J series block pushing around that number.
yeah I saw that... it is the baddest CL out there. I know it is RWD though and it was completely custom.
I was hoping someone could build a crazy street version that is actually attainable for the average joe with some time and money.
Something similar to this...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0SjE...eature=related
Keep it FWD but built up to the max.

Im not sure what ThinJim has in his motor, as he never really posted specifics.
But, youll need sleeves, forged everything, and a damn good tune. Lots of custom parts too.
Theres a 3.6l M90 supercharged 3rd gen with over 400hp at the wheels. Thats using stock sleeves at about 9psi IIRC. Tuned on the F/IC.

I believe that guy was indeed on this forum.
NA - Ill let you know next week
There is a 2G TL (Fries) that put down ~360whp, but that was on nitrous.

Thanks. Im going to put together a new build thread before I do, so it should be easier to locate everything.
But as far as highest numbers, the link I posted is the highest Ive seen in a CL. My old turbo kit made ~380whp. It was supposed to go on my car but after the engine build I decided to sell it. It wouldve been nice to see what it couldve put down though.

Maybe you should replace the old gt35r with this new one.

tuning is not going so well. need to upgrade the exhaust system. just ordered xlr8 free flow cat to replace my rt cat. going from 2" to 2.5". also, changing the pipes to 2.5. hoping this will help free up the air flow.

Sorry
