Are they trying to jack me? Offset question...

I've been calling several people about Lowenhart BR5s, most have to do a special order from Japan b/c these rims are normally put on bimmers / benzos, and our offset generally isn't kept in stock. Retailers I've talked to when asked said that they would need to be an offset of +48 or higher for 19x8. I came across http://www.cbwheels.com who say they have them in stock. They said that an offset of +42 would work great for my car b/c anything higher would hit the calipers?...

Are they jacking me around? Or does this sound right? It didn't sound right to me, so I brought it to the board.

Thanks,

+48 offset us cirrect fir 19x8, anything less then that and you are looking at rubbing with 235 and wider tires and springs to lower the car. Some have gotten by, but it's gonna be real close.
