These CL-S's are just tooooooo fast

SHIT!! Just got my first tickit on the my acura.

When I first noticed him, he was just chilling at a red light, as i was maxing out 2nd gear. I figured I was at about 70-75 when I spotted him. As I flew by him, he pulled out and turned on his radar. He clocked me at 55 in a 25, after he staigtened out with me so that his radar could mark me (after about 4-5 seconds of hard braking).

I have heard that cops in California are not allowed to use radar guns at night. Is this true??

Any input that might help me out???

Amen, there is no too fast...just lack of components to keep the car driveable (ie suspension and brakes). As for the California issue, doesn't bother me...

Get yourself a detector..... V1 or 8500 escort work well. Ya might also want a K40 laser difuser. Good luck.

The bike cops in the city use them...but usually, they just gauge your speed. Oh yeah, be careful on 19th Ave going into the park...new bike cop sits on a trail midway through.

California Highway Patrol didn't use radar when I lived there 5 yearw ago because they couldn't get funding to buy them. That's when my faorite insurance company (blech) GEICO stepped in and gave them radar guns. Nice of them huh?
