Mugen has a lower temp. T-stat for our cars.

Run a search for Mugen thermostat fan switch." You will only get like 7 results. :P

Good luck. I'm actually hoping to do this in the next couple of weeks as soon as I get some money together.

Hey new dude...welcome.

There's a great section in these forums appropriately titled:

And within it, on the first page, you'll find a thread with your answers.

Amazing how the internet works? Ain't it?

uh, on the thermostat housing. You can see it as soon as you pop the hood look under the throttle body.

I did mugen t-stat, fan switch, and rad cap with the addition of some Water Wetter in about 30mins. just make sure you have a wrench big enough for the fan switch, I didnt and had to go out and buy one in the middle of the install.

What does the fan switch do for you? Does it just change the temp at which the fans turn on or does it make the fans turn on manually?

Just curious...why do you want to go to a lower temp thermostat?

Makes them come on at 180 degrees, although with the thermostat opening, instead of the stock temp which is 200-220 I believe???

Basically they should be swaped at the same time to achieve the maximum effect of the mod.

15\16's open end wrench will do the job.
