Question Thermoblok spacers?

Anyone bought these yet from Outlaw Engineering? If so, let me know what you think of them. I'm looking to get them for my 01 CL Type S. Thanks!

I've got the prototype set for the Type S on my car. They definitely keep the intake cooler. It feels cool to the touch after driving. As for HP gains I haven't dynoed the car but it did seem to stay stronger when in traffic or idling for a while which would normally heat soak the manifold and cause a slight loss of power. Not something you are really going to notice but I like the idea of keeping things cool.

NOW AVAILABLE!!

Carlos,

Thank you for your interest in ThermoBlok spacer kits. We now have all the production Type-S parts in-house and are ready to ship. We are also working on publishing the installation instructions, but it is relatively simple on the TL/CL. The price for the Type-S kit is $99 + $6 shipping. The easiest way to pay is to submit a PayPal payment (www.paypal.com) to our account "sales@outlawengineering.com". Your order will ship within 36hours of payment and should arrive following 2-3 business days.

Best regards,
Sean Morgan

Hmm...... $99 might be a good deal. I have asked them for a free kit.. let's see what they say. From what I can see, its not complicated to install - maybe $75 worth of work?!
