Thermoblok Spacer leaking?

I installed a thermoblok throttle body spacer and all went well but.......

1. I think I got a spacer for a CL-P. Is that possible that it would fit on my 03 CL-S? I had to dremel the inside to portmatch my TB. It was about 4mm off.

2. After installation, I started the car and heard a leak comming from the bottem of the TB . Very small but noticable and when increasing RPM's it would be gone. On idle there would be a small hissing. Thought something wasn't lined up corretly so I unbolted and retorqed everything again. Sounded like the leak was gone. Got in my car and the check engine light was on so I reset the ECU. Started back up and was gone.

3. Went out for a test drive. Everything was good, punched it in 2nd and bam.... check engine light.. I didn't have the time to go get it scaned but im pretty sure its from the TB leaking.

Any info would be great.

Thanks in advance.
Eddie

I'm interested to know too. Where did you get your spacer?

if you spacer is from outlaw, then there is some distinction between CL and CLS (the part number is different)... see:

http://www.outlawengineering.com/hondajframe.html

Give them a call to find out... otherwise, guess no one can tell

From: Pacific Northwest, blah.
I have the spacers installed on my car and I have no leaks. But I bought the CL-S spacers instead of the CL-P....take them back and tell them you screwed up.

The thing is....I bought it from a member. On another note.... Scanned the check engine light and it was my TPS. Seems like the leak is gone...Even though I ordered a spacer from outlaw. When it gets here I'll see if its the same one I have on the car now.
