One thing I noticed is the FPR is not a Comptech rising rate one.

that s/c is missing lots of items. granted, they're probably pretty cheap from comptech, but who knows whether or not comptech even produces those missing parts anymore.

Yeah... there's always been some confusion about posting ebay auctions... even by mods...

Just so everyone knows, it's ok to post informational ebay listings, but it's NOT ok to advertise your own (or some you know) ebay auctions...

Confusing indeed, what exactly is "informational" listings - Ive seen threads closed before which have sited a "good" deal on certain items linked neither to the thread poster or someone they know...

Not trying to be a hard on, and i know that the site charges vendors to advertise to be able to sell products on the site - but is it ok in fact to pass on a deal from an unknown third party selling on ebay? Or is informational strictly linking a ebay ad to show a picture of what an item may look like etc...

Artbran is posting ebay auctions like the rule intended. "Good deal items" should be allowed to stay open... I know I haven't closed any, and in fact have re-opened a one or two (at least here in 2GCL).

See rule in BOLD.

https://acurazine.com/forums/announc...ouncementid=10

3. This is not eBay or an Auction Site. NO eBay Links, eBay item numbers, or any mention of eBay when referring to your own sales is allowed. You may furnish your eBay name or link to your references so people can verify the references, but do not mention that the item you are selling here is also for sale on eBay.

.....a. However, eBay links to other people's sales are allowed if they show pictures or provide additional information for the item(s) you are selling.

.....b. If you are ending your sale here, please state that and then you may post an eBay link, or post that the item is now on eBay, and the thread will be closed. Any mention of Bay will also cause the thread to be closed. If you don't want the thread to be closed, don't post the eBay link or refer to your item being on eBay now.

.....c. Ebay links may be posted in other forums, as long as they are not the poster's own sale, if they illustrate or clarify postings in the thread, or if they provide useful information on sale prices or availability of items.
