Thanks for your cams guys!
I installed over the weekend a pair of your camshafts. Might I say they gave my car a bigger set of you know what. It wasn't a huge gain but I felt it as much as headers and it's cheaper. Now my gas is really goin to hell. Are our MPG that much off from each other? Thanks again!

Congrats on the installation...
The fuel economy on the CL-S might actually be better than your gen AV6. It has one more gear to play with to keep the revs down around 2k at brisk highway speeds. It is also running a higher CR for improved low speed efficiency.
Also, I would suspect that you are now running less vaccum which would decrease your fuel economy. Did you monitor before and after vacuum values??

Less vacuum will cause you to burn more fuel and result in overall decreased fuel economy.

It is a possibility, certainly. But there are something to consider. I wouldn't do it without something like the VAFC to allow for compensation of the A/F ratio on and off the hot cam lobe.
This could also be used to compensate for potentially decreased fuel economy. But only to a point, if vacuum is lower you are stuck with it.
