I have a P2R test pipe installed. I'll try to get a clip of it up soon.

gfrg88- As far as my exhaust set-up right now all i have is xs headers, and magnaflow mufflers(came with the car), pipiing and cat are the stock.

CL-Slick that would be greatly appreciated, the p2r test pipe is the one i was looking at purchasing too.

I'll try and get on it before the car goes in the shop. I have MagnaFlow 11214 mufflers on mine so the sound might be close.

Ok, I'll try to tomorrow. I would now, but it's almost 11:30 and I don't think the neighbors would appreciate it.

Alright guys, I made some videos as promised. The quality is kind of crappy, but it should give you an idea of what it will sound like. The first video is on the outside and the second is from the inside of the car.

The smell isn't that bad to me. The only time that I have a problem with it while sitting in traffic is if I have the windows down and the wind is blowing. Other than that the smell really isn't much of a problem. I have the parts sitting in my garage right now to turn the CEL off. That's next week's project.

i am getting a high flow cat put in. my reasons are.... 1 my friends s2000 and RSX sounds like a typical ricer with a test pipe. 2.also it smells like (no offense) a trail park dirt track race. 3. CEL light.

he had a High flow cat put in the s2000, no smell, no raspy ricer noises, and his CEL isnt on.(anymore)

oh and best of all, i dont wanna shoot him when he drives past my apartment at night

but thats just me

you can get the xlr8 high flo cat but its 3 times the price of the test pipe. I am gonna go with high flo cat, magnaflow resonator, custom 2.5" piping and comptech mufflers.

That's what I was thinking. thanks! For everyone who wants to put a test pipe on their car, my advice to you try to find the vid clip of (clnusped) or how ever you spell it and listen before doing it. Rasp out the ass, you think the EVO exhaust sounded bad? HA Terrible sound. People can bash electric cutouts all day, but if you can remember a guy (scalbert) with his turbo CL ran electric cutouts and made stupid power. Talk about losing tq down low? Look at the amount of roll races you guys do over digs. A hell of a lot more roll races which means your rpms are right around 4k when you start. A touch of a button opens you cutout and there is all your high rpm hp, you won't be sweating the tq curve then. And tune it for open exhaust, game over. I will post the dyno results when my harness comes in and the tune is gone.

Yeah my cousin has one on his Eclipse. Definitely let's it breathe up top and the growl of it is kinda mean. I wouldn't suggest it for NA though. You should have the bite to go with that kinda bark.

Slight increase? http://camaroforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=33354 i just googled that real quick. Granted they are v8s, but why could our v6 not experience similar gains? And you want to know the best part about the cut out vs a test pipe or another exhaust set up? You get to run completely stock exhaust with a sleeper look and you can change the sound in under 2 seconds by pushing a button. Who doesn't want a button to put them in stock exhaust mode then race on the fly? I personally love the sound, (mainly when I am running the shit out of it) but if I am driving to the grocery store obviously I would not have it open for everyone to be like look at that ahole. lol Random street races and the track, thats it.

Oooo Your Talking about an Electric Cutout
Thought u meant the one u have to unscrew off
And noooo Our v6 wont see the same results as a LS1 or LT-1
Its like a K20 or K24 with a CAI against the J32 with CAI
For Some reasons the K Motor will get more HP GAINS for some reason than our J Motor!!

LS1 will get 30 hp (what was said in the link u posted)
and we'll get like 5-13 hp!
And its not much of a difference cause when i bout my 02 cls it came with a cutout and when i capped it it didn't make too much of a DIFFERENCE!!

It will be worth it for me because I will have a tune for wide open exhaust and stock. I will be able to load in a min from the laptop.
