lucky for you...why dont you send some of that my way...its still in the mid 80's and sometimes low 90's with nasty high humidity We were supposed to get a cool front (high in the upper 70's) but it didnt make it down this far.

Like for instance...right now its 75 but the heat index is 80, and the humidity is 90% and the dew point is 72...yuck!

Weather sucks down here.

How often do you go to Montreal? Seems like you should live up there. Wish I could go that often and visit my gf.

He he... I am canadian and my family lives in South-shore of Montreal!... I drove there and stayed 5 days... picked up my Mom and sister, came down here for few days... went on shopping spree!!! $$$ and we are leaving back to Montreal today, I will be back Friday evening.. It is 300 miles from Nashua to Montreal.

At 65 MPH it is 4.5 hours... Add rest areas stops, Border-crossing waiting time and it an easy 6 hours.

Driving at 85+ MPH I can make it in 5hrs with stops.. Last time I did in 5hr-5hr:15m with stop. Nashua to Burlington, VT is 200 miles and it is all Interstate HW... u can do it in 2:30 if you are brave enough

Anyways, if the weather stays like this till Saturday we will see the morning time trial in Hi-30 low 40s... Can u say 14.0s flat! down the 1/4mile

I wish man...I have been trying to get everything done to it before I move in and have to fool with it then. I just ordered flooring (wood and tile) and then I have to get new carpet after that. Damn Isador and Lili screwed up my time frame. I did, however, paint my garage floor to get it all nice and pimp looking in preperation for my baby....I even added a little anti-skid (sand) to the paint to give her some grip to get in :P

See 1gcl can tell you about the lovely steemy weather we get all the time We will be lucky if we even get down to 30 this winter.

Yes, it was 39 degrees yesterday on the way to work and I could definitely feel a few extra ponies under the hood.
Remember that I bought my car in March and didn’t do the Headers & CAI until May when it was already getting warmer out.
I have yet to REALLY see all the benefits of these MODS when the temps are LOW.

I’m going to hold out as long as possible before I have to put my marshmallow thread snow tires on there.
The handling is going to go to SHIT when I do that.
Not to mention the BLING FACTOR will be much lower.

Im with you Shawn...I got this car in may and it was already hot...so I have not had the chance to have fun in the cold with the new mods....it was like that with my 01 cl. Got it in may and modded it in the summer and by winter time it was much better...I cant wait!!!! How are those Falkens you got holding up??

Tires are holding up pretty well.
I installed them with about 400 miles on the car and now I have around 6,500.

I rotated them at 4,000 and the fronts only showed minimal wear.
I probably won’t need to rotate them again before I have to put the snows on depending how Mother Nature treats us this December.

How are your 451’s doing ???

I don't udnerstand the Nashua's comment about temps in the 30's and having to take it easy because he has summer tires.

After a few miles of driving, wouldn't the friction from the road heat up the tires so the performance wouldn't suffer?

They are ok Shawn butthay are wearing fast. They have about 7k on them and I rotate them at about 3k. I am guessing I will get about 12-15k out of them maybe. I dont drive that hard I dont think but I could be...I do kinda corner hard and stuff. Only thing I dont like is I seem to ALWAYS get wheel hop if I take off fast. I might try the ones you got next time...I cant afford to shell out the cash ever 15k..I drive a lot. I had the car since about may and I have over 10k on it now.

I think Nashua was meaning that it will be snowing and iceing up soon and he will need the grip of the winter tires to get through it...right?!?!

His thread mentions that he is leaving for Montreal today and I don't think it's been cold enough for the ground to freeze yet.

Too bad we don’t live closer. I’d like to swap cars and compare the handling.
My tires last longer, but I guess the handling is somewhat compromised.
I’d like to see how much of a difference there really is on an identical car with a similar suspension setup.

Guys, yes the tires will heat up after some 20 mis drive at 80 MPH!... I am now in Montreal after some 5hr:30min and 300 miles.

I adjusted the tires pressure to 38 front and 36 back before leaving, I touched the tires and they were warm after 200 miles.. But do you really need to push it when you have a driver and 2 passengers and full trunk and even the fourth seat was full of stuff...

The drive was cloudy and wwith some chilling wind, temp was in low 50s.. lovely drive... dirty ride

I am seriously looking forward to cooler temperatures. Mountain driving with the temps in the mid 50's is an excellent adventure...
