Tech question for you tire guys...

I'm running a '03 cls on stock suspension, so how much rubbing am i gonna get from running 18/7.5 in wheels with an offset of 40 and 225/40zr18 for the tires? I'm thinking i'll probably have to go underneath and trim the wheel wells b/c the offset's so low. 'preciate any help.

good luck

The lowest offset that is recommended is 42... I have a 42 offset and I lowered my car... I have no rubbing... If you decide to stay stock suspension you might not have a problem... but you sure are gonna look funny riding around with that suspension and rim/tire set-up with your car looking like a 4-wheel drive truck....
