Taillight Suggestions Needed
Hey guys i'm going to take on a new project starting this weekend and i want some suggestions. I'm going to make LED clusters for the taillights and i want suggestions on the layouts. I was thinking two circles like on the G35's or maybe just straight lines like on M3's. Drawings, pictures, sketches, anything will do just throw some ideas my way. In your suggestions point out what the turn signal, parking lights, and break lights are. By the way i have 2001 taillights.
Thanks

i think it's a waste of money. don't do it. just stick with what you have or change them to 03's. with that in mind, you can also smoke the tail lights if you wanted to.

I'm not really worried about the money issue because i already calculated costs and it will come out to way under $100. About doing the conversion to 03 or tinting my own, its been done and i really don't like either. With that said i want to do something different yet nice and not too flashy just to add to the styling of the car. I love the fact that these cars aren't really all over the place, at least where i live, and i want to add to that exclusivity.

Dude
I think it's a great idea to take on something unique and not seen all the time on these boards. I myself would like to work with LEDs but the lack of knowledge and time prevents me from doing so. I strongly suggest you to go over to HIDplanet.com and look under their LED section for ideas, if you already didn't know about it. No real suggestions from me since i don't really work with it.

go check out hidplanet. they have tons of LED projects going over there.

Hey guys quick update i bought the LED's and am ready to work now i just need to decide on an idea. I saw an M35 today and i think i might do it that way. Its kind of like a circle on the inside and like a three quarter circle around it. I think that would work well even with the curve of the tailight. What do you guys think?
Thanks

i really dont think that the circles fit the CL's rear end. you should aim more towards the look of the new accord tails. but hey...if you like the circles go for it.
