I seen tints that go on the tail lights of the '03, looks good, do you think it would look good on a '01 taillight

I do not believe the CCC.Net ones come pre-cut, which would let you cut it to fit just about anything you want. However, I could very well be wrong. Juniorbean would be able to answer that one for you. I'm sure the answer is out there somewhere too, I remember reading about it sometime ago.
If you do decided to put the tints on the 01 tails, post some pics, I wanna see what it looks like! I don't know of anyone that has actually done it yet.

What you really should do is swap out the 01 tail lights for the 03 ones.

 

 

Hey guys. Just saw this topic... sorry. Been a little busy

The tints are made to tint the clear portion of the 2003 tails. Could you use them on the all red tails? I'm sure you could, but I have no idea how it would look. In addition, you'd need to buy two sets of the tints since the kit only comes with enough for the top half of the '03 tails.
