Angry Sweet new mod....

....Thanks neighboor.

So, I went to work this morning and when I got out of the car to walk to the trunk, I was greeted by this....

Sorry, I know the pics suck.

And well, I don't usually like to bitch about crap like this, but people are fawking assholes. Either it got there last night in the 2 minutes that I went into a store to get a soda, or my neighboors did it when they went to walk their dog that they said they do not have. I think it's option 2. Also add that this is the second time that same quarter panel has been scratched in the last 3 months. I'm just glad I didn't get around to fixing it the first time.

That is all. Carry on with your day.

Yeh. I was supposed to take it back so he could paint it after the last one, but he just touched it up. This new one is essentially in the same place. I basically already have a quote. I just need the time to drop it off. He said it will take a couple days.

The guy at body shop that painted my car said a little more, but he'll get it right and he's going to blend into the scratch below the door as well. It's not a bad deal.

I did a dumb thing today. I stuffed a long box in the car & pushed the door closed with my knee as I held the box in to get the door to close. I pushed too hard & the lower door panel has a BIG dent now. $75 to fix it.

I got an irritating scratch on my ABP CL too. Probably a lil bit smaller than that.

How much you think it'll be to touch that up and where you gonna go? I'm in the Union/Essex/Middlesex area all the time.

The place both of us use is called Lorenzos Auto Body in Kearny, NJ. Its on 66 Columbia Avenue and the number is 201-997-2567. The work he has done on both of our cars has been excellent and the prices are decent.

As for the price, the best bet is to go there an get a quote, but I can't see it being more than $125 (for a lesser scratch).

That's the plan for now. I'm going to touch it up and see how much I can hide it. I'm trying to hold out on anything new til next spring. Not counting my cooling mods that go in tomorrow.

How was you trip? And for the love of God, I hope you're not posting from the tropics.

Yeh JBlueCLS6. Lorenzo's do good work. I'm not sure how much it will be. It depends on the damage. A lot of places will charge you up to $500 to paint a panel. He should give you a lot better deal. Tell him Ravi with the blue CLs and Brett with the silver CL recommended you go to him. He also did a couple cars on the TL boards.
