Type-S Rear = 19mm SOLID
Type-P Rear = 18mm SOLID
Comptech front = 27mm Hollow
Comptech rear = 22mm Solid
Eibach Front = 27mm (unverified)
Eibach Rear = 23mm Solid
Neuspeed Front = 27mm SOLID
Neuspeed Rear (Race) = 25mm SOLID
*Note...if you have to ask, then you are NOT ready to make an educated decision. (I'm not knockin on Comptech...they make great stuff...but when it comes to sway bars, they're only my 3rd choice)

Edgalang,
Its important to note that comptech's front bar is the same outer diameter but a smaller inner diameter (thicker tubing).
By the way my vote goes to Comptech. I have them and love them

there's no one on the board who's tried them both.. so you can't really come to a comparitive conclusion.
but the fact is, anyone who has either of the three are all satisfied with their selection.
i'm also in the market for some sways, but i think i'm just going to go with the numbers and spend a little more and go eibach.
also these days i've been experiencing the phenomenon: 'you get what you pay for'. but i'm sure you'll be happy either way.

i just got some neuspeed sways, because i think that since suspension is what neuspeed specializes in, they should be good, and just to be different from the majority of cl's that use comptech. just got them today w/ my order of tein ss, but not yet installed.

Ever since the Type-S came out, the need to buy Suspension Techniques droped, since you can buy the OEM bars for HALF the price.

Any problems noted with running a 25mm thick rear bar? Torsion or body flexing problems? I'd be worried with a bar that thick.
I have a car running a 28mm bar and that sucker snaps the car so well but I"m afraid of doing any frame damage.

As far as frame damage....I haven't heard of any yet, nor on any TL/CL board. Perhaps you are referring to the endlink rods? Keep in mind they are made to snap BEFORE any frame damage occurs...and there are some Comptech users who's snapped them as well. THe only way I could think of damaging the frame is if you replace the OEM endlink rods with unbreakable steel ones.

Neuspeed all the way.
Neuspeed Front = 27mm SOLID
Neuspeed Rear (Race) = 25mm SOLID
Had these for about a year and a half and 30k miles. No problems or frame damage whats so ever. And i dont baby the car either, in other words making hard turns with these sway bars kick ass.

i can't seem to get a search anywhere on the Neuspeed 25mm solid rears...
when you said uncommon... are you saying its rare and not commerically available anymore? I don't see it at Neuspeed's website either.
