Suspension Upgrade Suggestions Request

Hey Guys,

I just discovered this board today and signed up 5 minutes ago. Excellent resource!

Question: I have a 1998 3.0 CL (black with all the factory goodies) with 69,000 miles.
I just moved to a small town on Hwy 1 just north of San Francisco (yeah, it's beautiful). My daily commute includes about 11 miles of one of the most scenic roads in America.
The factory suspension does not let me enjoy this road the way I would like. I don't really want to lower the ride height, but I would like to install upgrades that will prevent me from feeling like I am going to fall over at every turn. I don't know much about what's involved, so I would really appreciate your suggestions.

Imad

Personally, I believe that lowering is merely an added benefit of installing aftermarket springs , sways and shocks. I certainly didn't do it for the looks.

If you don't want a big drop and don't want to spend a fortune, go with Comptech (springs, sways) and Tokico (shocks). The difference in handling/cornering is HUGE. The lower center of gravity contributes to this as well.
