Suspension: Show or Go?

Hey guys-
I have a good friend prepared to buy a CL Type S. His world is swayed between performance and show, and with this debate comes suspension. (Keep in mind my knowledge on the Acura CL Type S isn't as vast as yours )
Option #1 (Show): Custom Air Bag suspension set-up. Ridin' low and tuckin wheels for show.
Option #2 (Go): Some sort of all out coilover system. Like a Tein HA with EDFC Controller for sick, corner hugging handling...
He needs your opinion on what he should do!! I vote for the go aspect. I love performance, and I think an awesome car like the CL deserves high performing suspension. Thanks for your vote and input!!

Matt :P

the only TEIN available is the SS and you have to buy the Accord 98+ version since they have the same setup. The problem is the TEIN SS spring was designed for the slightly lighter Accord. Some folks have experienced bottoming out because of this...I know I have. But it all depends on the road condition...for the majority it doesn't happen.

The EDFC doesn't work on our car due to clearance issues under the front hood. It should work in the rear, but no one has tried it yet.

The other problem I ran into was getting access to adjust the rear. I have to remove all seat cushions just to get to the top knob on the strut. A very pain in the ass process.

there is a member on here named 4pumpedcl He is one of the few guys on here w/ bags. i'm sure he would have more opinions on those...

4pumped has a 4 pump hydraulic system, not air.

Yea, I figured Tein wouldn't release much (or anything) for the CL, that's why I said "like..." I appreciate the input, what (in your opinion) would be the best performing suspension set-up out right now for the Type S... Thanks again to those who voted, and those who haven't cast away!!

Does he ever want to drive it? If he goes bags and is doing a showcar tell him to get a used CL-P. Probably be able to source one for $15k. No point in getting performance if you do bags.
