Suspension Question

After having the dealer install my CT springs I have been experiencing a clunking noise on the rear right shock area/pillar/rear deck. I have not taken the car back to the dealer because I am 2.5 hrs drive from the dealer. I was wondering if any one can help with specifics regarding parts that are normally losen and unbolted during the process of instaling the shocks and springs. I have gone under car and retighten the CT swaybars, but what else do I need too look for. Please help.

Also the stock springs had a black rubber guard on the bottom coils closes to the perch, should i have to place these on the CT springs for any reason.

Thanks for the info guys.

I have used the search but cant fing anything

it may be the springs rubbing against each other. Did the springs come w/ a little rubber insulator to put around the spring?

Doesn't sound like they were Comptech springs then.

CT wraps the first few rows of springs with a black foam/rubber.

Where did they come from?

Guys,

I purchased the spring on the blackmarket and they are CT springs. Also my dealer installed with no problems at all, but the only issue that I have is that I hear a clunk sound once in a while depending on road surface. My problem is not squeaking springs. I need to know what other parts of the suspension I could tigthen up to help resolved this annoying sound in the right rear. All other corners seem to be fine with no noise.

Try to manually push the car down on the side where it sounds, maybe the shock is going bad. Also check to see if the shock is leaking, they usually leak when they go bad.
