Supra tries to pull on me

So I'm crusing driving down Georgia Ave, straight away all lights green and this Supra pulls up, main man looks over at me and speeds off a distance then slows back down. So I was like Sh*t this fool wants to speed huh...so I humor him and do the same. After about 1 mile of doing this we finally hit a red light, Supra man starts revving up the car. In my rear view mirror I see a Ford Thunderbird comming up something tells me dont pull on him. The light turns green and Supra pulls off and get t the next red light ahead of me and the Thunderbird. Now all three of us at the light to the left of me the Thunderbird and the right the Supra. Supra now really over doing it with the engine reving. I glace over to the Thunderbird and he's doing the same but somethings fishy he has on a MD state police uniform. He does not have his hat on. The light turns green and the Supra peels off and so to does the Thunderbird I just sit for a second ant the light and wait. Officer Thunderbird cut across and is in my line and goes about 1/2 mile and pulls Supra man over when I finally get up to the Officer Thunderbird is giving him a ticket with a big AZZ smile on his face.

Isn't that entrapment? I guess the question is how do you prove it.

That does sound like entrapment. Cops have to obey the law when they are just crusing also.

It may fall under entrapment but i doubt you'd win in court.

Great story.

could be considered exhibition of speed if you were your average joe motorist.

I believe entrapment is an officer engaging in actions that would cause an otherwise law abiding citizen to commit a crime.

Yeah, like revving on him causing the individual to want to race. I'm law abiding but if someone revs on me I can't take it...OK that was a stretch I admit it!

That is entrapment. WTF is a cop car revving?? He probably talked to him about racing but did not give him a ticket. I had an off-duty cop pull this crap on me before.

RL 3.5 way to play it smart, either way that is a terrible area to speed. There are really no good road in the Silver spring area to race. All the roads have traffice and the roads are in terrible condition. I'm so happy i'm moving out of Silver Spring soon, back to Florida where i should have stayed. I live right by randolph and georgia.

One time when i was coming down 16th street back from D.C. i just about raced a girl in her mom's RX300 every freakin light, i kept trying to beat out the light so i could hit them all green, but it never worked, so we just kept racing about every 100 yards to the next light. It was so gay! D.C. blows!

Actually, how the hell did the cop get out of his car that fast to be "writing" him a ticket. My bro in law is a cop and I know that it takes at least 30 secs for them to get out of their cars since they call in the tags, etc.

In any case, amuzing story.
